Super Beta Prostate is an herbal supplement whose main active ingredient is beta-sitosterol. Beta-sitosterol is found in a variety of vegetables, fruits and other plants. Super Beta Prostate was created to relieve the symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia, or BPH. It may improve urinary flow and promote urinary tract function, but will not relieve any discomfort that may accompany the condition.
Super Beta Prostate side effects are uncommon. Though there are several that have been noted in some product users. The most common side effects noted involved the GI (gastrointestinal tract). These may include heartburn, constipation, nausea, and/ or diarrhea.
Because beta-sitosterol affects male hormones such as testosterone and dihyrotesterone, sexual side effects such as erectile dysfunction and decreased libido (sex drive) are possible.
Super Beta Prostate Side Effects can also include decreased vitamin absorption. This is mainly a problem with vitamin E and beta-carotene—a form of vitamin A. This is especially a problem in those who may already suffer from deficiencies. If a man is suffering from a vitamin deficiency, extra vitamin supplements may be necessary.
Users of Super Beta Prostate may experience allergic reactions to the secondary ingredients, although unlikely. Signs of an allergic reaction include: hives, itching, rash, swelling of the mouth or throat, wheezing, or dyspnea (difficulty breathing).
Hair loss has also been known to occur.
Most of the Super Beta Prostate side effects are not dangerous, merely bothersome. Most users have reported no problems and good results while using this product. As always, before beginning any new medication or supplemental program, a potential user should speak with their healthcare provider. If the user experiences any side effects while using this product or feels anything different, they should inform their doctor as soon as possible.
